More Info

Up to now and over seven and a half years, we have created nearly 3000 bears and so we really know what we’re doing!
Our unique, handcrafted bears are made from a pattern that is totally unique and designed by us and you will not find the same cute snouted design anywhere else.
Every single bear is completely different and is a beautiful, luxurious keepsake for life made entirely from your loved ones precious clothing. What a wonderful and heartfelt way to preserve those precious memories.
Bears can be personalised with any information you require over one or both footpads, just enter this information above before you checkout.
We offer two sizes of bear, standard size that sits at approximately 30cm high and large size that sits at approximately 40cm high.
For our standard size bear, we will require four items of clothing.
For our large size bear, we will require six items of clothing. A couple of extras in each case are always good if you’d like more variation in the appearance of the finished bear (feel free to label items of the most/least importance when you send your parcel to us).
If there are attachments already on any of the items you are sending such as a tie or headband then we can add these to your keepsake for an additional charge. Please select from the options above before you checkout.
Once we receive your parcel it takes around six to eight weeks for you to receive your beautiful, handcrafted keepsake back.

General Product Information

• Each bear comes with a gorgeous silver heart tag attached to the bow
• Not to be given to children under 14 as toys due to the fact that they are created with mixed and pre-worn clothing and therefore cannot be CE tested.
• The stuffing that we use is 100% polyester and complies with British Standards:
BS5852
BS1425
Complies with European Standards:
EN71-3 2013
• They are best to be kept out of direct sun
• We recommend to lightly hoover to keep dust free and do not recommend washing

What clothes can I send?

Clothing types – We really can use most clothing as we line and stabilise ALL of our bears unlike many other keepsake makers and so this ensures uniformity in stability to the fabrics you send. However, there are a few types that really don’t work and they are as follows: Swimwear, socks, tights, sheer lace, loose and chunky knitwear (a very tight knit like a woven school jumper is ok), plastic rain mac material, heavy weight denim and leather.

Amounts to Send – We offer two sizes of bear, standard size that sits at approximately 30cm high and large size that sits at approximately 40cm high.
For our standard size bear, we will require four items of clothing.
For our large size bear, we will require six items of clothing. As a general rule it is always better for us to have a little extra than too little to work with.

Notes/Special Instructions – You will receive more information about this in the email you get once you checkout but please do add a note in your parcel with anything specific you’d like included. We’d like to make sure that your most treasured items are focal so please do let us know this. If you send a few more that the minimums then please also let us know if it’s important that it all gets used or if some are ‘as extra, just in case’. Otherwise we will use our expert judgement on what looks best and send you back anything not used with your finished keepsake. We try our very best to grant your wishes but sometimes it’s not always possible. We will endeavour to contact you if this should be the case.

Scraps/Offcuts – Once we have created your keepsake, generally the remaining fabric is kept for a month or so but after that it is recycled. If you wish for your scraps and offcuts to be returned to you, please also include this on your note in the parcel.

How Do I Send My Items? – As soon as you have checked out, you will receive an email from us with all the instructions you need to be able to send your parcel to us. Please follow these very carefully to ensure your parcel is as safe as it can be in transit to us and to allow us to clearly identify it to you once we receive it. We cannot be held responsible for the transit of your parcel to us.

Delivery

Cushions are sent home to a UK mainland address via a DPD Local next day delivery service. Once your keepsake is on it’s way, you will receive a text/email from DPD in which you can track and tailor your delivery.

Cushions going elsewhere will be sent via a tracked and signed for Royal Mail service.

Shipping cost is £11 per parcel.

Please note, these prices are subject to increase dependent on DPD/Royal Mail increases.

We can send overseas but you will need to contact us for more information on the cost of this dependent on your location.
